COVID-19 or the Flu?

COVID-19 and the flu are both infectious respiratory diseases and share some similar symptoms – cough, runny nose, sore throat, fever, headache, and fatigue.

However, they are caused by different viruses and there is a difference in how the diseases are treated.

Now is a good time to review them. The chart below compares COVID-19 and the flu, given the best available information to date. We hope this information will help you make informed decisions.
