Coronavirus Medical Vocabulary Quiz

Coronavirus Medical Vocabulary Quiz

Coronavirus COVID-19

The coronavirus quiz is more than a quiz.

You may learn some new medical terms, or perhaps you may NOT learn new terms, but rather how to use them properly.

What does contagious mean? How should it be used today with this pandemic? For that matter, what is a pandemic versus an epidemic?

Some of these terms, now common, go back a long time. Epidemic can be traced back to the Hippocratic Corpus. Others such as COVID-19 are only a few weeks old.

Words matter and the correct words, when it comes to a medical emergency, matter even more.

Here is the medical terminology quiz that will help you to understand the language surrounding the novel coronavirus pandemic.
