Sticking with something tried and true is fine, maybe even good.

We offered paper flashcards. It was difficult to convince the publishing company. They felt flashcards were inappropriate for learning at the post-high school level.  Again, we focused on the student and learned that flashcards not only would be used, but they were desired. Today we offer flashcards in both paper and electronic format.
