Teach Anatomic Planes with Playdough

I like to use this hands-on activity to teach anatomic planes in my face-to-face medical terminology classes. It is an example of how a manipulative, such as play dough, can involve all students in a kinesthetic learning activity.

Use this anatomic planes teaching video to prepare for your next class. The activity will help students better understand the concept of anatomic planes when used in diagnostic imaging.
