Teach Anatomic Planes with Playdough

Medical Terminology Teaching Tip

To help students better understand the concept of anatomic planes when used in diagnostic imaging, I like to use a hands-on activity in my face-to-face medical terminology classes. The following video gives instructors an example of how a manipulative, such as play dough, can be used to involve all students in a kinesthetic learning activity.

Gather these tools and try this in YOUR classroom.
